This Trek is one of the Best and short trekking routes around Kathmandu valley. Shivapuri Trek starts from Budhanilkantha, sleeping Bishnu with snake and continues through a bank of holi Bagmati River and forest. This Trek offers a rich insight into the lives, history, culture and religion, together with the daily toil in the fields of its inhabitants. Shivapuri Village (2729m) is a true spirit of Nepalese village experience and hospitality. This trek only 25 km from the capital of Kathmandu. Sivapuri trek offers various activities to keep oneself busy during the stay be it in the form of Nature Treks and Hikes, Ethnic Village Tours, Bird Watching, Photography or just a simple relaxing leisure. Shivapuri hill (2729m) is the highest point of this trekking. From the top of Shivapuri,Trekers can see western mountain Manaslu, Boudha himal, Ganesh himal range, Langtang range, Dorjeelakpa, shisapangma and Gaurishankar etc.
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.
